Rec Wrestling
Program: Zionsville Rec Wresting is a beginner’s program that provides an introductory experience for kids in grades K-5th grade. Rec wrestling is held annually in October and November. Wrestlers will be introduced to the fundamentals and basic skills of wrestling. The program also offers continued skills development for those with prior wrestling experience. Kids will be coached on the skills of wrestling and the values of the sport. Rec Wrestling offers kids an opportunity to test what they have learned with friendly inter-squad competitions matched up according to age, weight and ability level.
Cost: $111 fee paid through Eagle Recreation & Enrichment Foundation ( Register By November 1, 2023 11:59pm CST)
Schedule: October 24 – November 21, 2023
- (K - 5) Tues & Thurs 6 – 7:05pm)
Location: Zionsville High School Wrestling Room (Door #3)
Required equipment: Black pair of athletic shorts and solid color compression shirt (color of compression shirt will be assigned the first week of Rec Team schedule) and athletic shoes, preferably wrestling shoes.
